I don't know if there's an easy way to determine what firmwares are 
already installed, but there's a good KBase article to determine 
which updates are applicable to your machine:

iMac: When to Install Available Updaters

Find what section of the document applies to the iMac you have, and 
if you don't remember installing the updates it suggests installing, 
try installing them... if you don't need a particular Firmware update 
because it's already installed or isn't applicable, you will get a 
message saying either the appropriate version is installed or that 
the firmware cannot be installed. It will not try to "downgrade" your 
firmware.
