When using a broad band tester I usually get about 1950 download and 275 upload. As for reliability, my service has not be down once since I have had it > 3. As long as you can get your cable line to both the cable modem and the cable box, the installation on your mac is a snap. > 5. Is there anything else I should be aware of? Time Warner gave me an information kit when I got the service. Inside this kit you can pretty much get all your answers to any questions about Road Runner service in your area. Also check out Road Runner's home page at http://www.rr.com Look for any "deals" they may have in your neighborhood. When I got my service I got free installation and a free month of service. Also in my neighborhood you will get two different prices for Road Runner service. A lower price if you have Time Warner Cable TV and Road Runner service together and a higher price if you have Road Runner service by your itself. You might also want to checkout http://www.dslreports.com You will be able to find out a lot of information about broad band services at this web site > I haven't had cable modem service in over a year & really miss it.
