As I mentioned a few days ago, my high tech state (not) issues its codes on CDs that only run on PCs (along with a complete sets of its case law, too). It looks like I will need to use Virtual PC to run that CD. I use OS 8.6 on a 333 iMac with 512Mb RAM and 3.1Gb of available disk space (out of 6Mb). The CD will run on windows '95 forward and the amount of disk space is considerably smaller for the older windows releases. I am considering getting whatever versions comes with windows '98.
Question: Can you print to a USB printer with OS 8.6 and Virtual 3.0/Windows '98 or do I have to upgrade to OS 9.X and buy Virtual 4.0/Windows 2000? Comments? Suggestions? -- Matthew D.
