My Dad recently bought one of the new spherical iMacs, and
like many of you is waiting for it to come in.

Now when I got my tower from Macwarehouse, I got 256MB
of free memory. With the 156 it came with plus 256, that's
384 for me.

He says he didn't get any free RAM. His iMac came with 256MB
of RAM.

But how much is optimum for iMovie? I think of video as needing
lots of RAM.

I want him to call his local dealer ASAP if he needs more so they
can install it right into the computer before he gets it.
