Having gone around this one a couple of times, I printed off the info:
Go to Extension mgr, change selected set to OS whichever Base set. Click
on Duplicate Set and name it Toast. Scroll down and disable A...Firewire
Authoring Support B...USB Authoring Support. Scroll down and enable
the following: A...Toast CD Reader B....Toast USB Support
C....Toast Firewire Support. Click Restart. After the reboot, you
should be able to find that the drive is listed and everything is
tickety boo, instead of boo hoo!! Cheers, Doug in BC Oh.....OS
whichever refers to whichever OS you are running, I happen to be in X
10.1.2....hope this is clear to all concerned
