I am updating my 333 iMac with 160MB RAM to system 9 then on to X. I have
been running 8.6 and experiencing many freezes and applications quitting.

I have done a clean install of 9.1 and run the 9.2.1 and 9.2.2 updates. I
have not installed other software yet except AOL 5 to avoid or trace any
conflicts.

I am still getting the freezes...the finder quitting and AOL quitting, etc.
I want to get this resolved before installing X. Any tips?

As rare as it usually is, could there be a problem with the RAM installed in
my machine or other hardware issues?

Thanks,

Donny
