Hello all
There are a couple of niggling things that I need advice/help with.
1. Quite often, when I start up my iMac (600 mhz, OS 9.2) I find a
folder in the trash marked "Rescued items" or some such title. In the
old days, this was a sign that there had been some trouble on
shutdown. In each case, shutdown had been silky smooth. What gives?
2. When I visit a website such as Macsurfer with my browser of
choice, Netscape 6, the URLs no longer dim after I've used them,
forcing me to rely on an ever-weakening memory to keep track of which
ones I've visited and which ones I haven't . Emailed Netscape, but
got only a stock " thanks" reply. Please don't suggest IE, because
I'm doing my level best to keep my machine Microsoft free until
justice prevails in the U.S. judicial system.
TIA
