The consensus seems to be that an early imac is too slow to run OS X well.
Thanks for your verification. An upgraded processor (> 400 mhz) would surely
help. The harmoni cards are almost $300 so you need to have a real big
desire for the faster speed. Similar cards were also made by Powerlogix
(iforce G3) and NewerTech (imaxpowr G3 and G4). From what I've heard all
give good results. The boost from 233 or 266 mhz on a rev A or B to 400-500
mhz could be worth the $ while a 333 or 350 mhz machine wouldnt get as
impressive a boost.
