Hello,
It is very simple. You will be upgrading the top slot which is easy.
Make sure that you do it somewhere where there is no carpet. Do not move
around the room once you start the work. Keep track of those screws. Put
them in a little cup or something so you don't lose any. Follow the
instructions at the www.theimac.com. Make sure you touch something metal in
the computer like the chasis to discharge any static before you touch
anything inside the computer or the memory chip.
You really have to angle the memory chip at an angle and then make sure it
snaps in place. Once you have successfully done this, you may want to
consider upgrading the memory in the bottom slot which is a little more
difficult to get to. Also, you should consider upgrading the Hard Drive.
It is not very difficult either. Once you upgrade the memory on the bottom
slot, you will see that upgrading the hard drive is not that difficult than
this. Good luck.
