There is an organization called ProMac, out of Chicago, offering what
they call OS 9 and OS X Crash Courses - one day classes for each -
here in the Phoenix area.

For OS 9, the course includes resolving boot up problems, diagnosing
and fixing "elusive" problems, instructions on how to run Norton Utilities
the "right" way, how to adjust RAM properly, finding and replacing damaged
fonts. They also cover what happens when you rebuild the desktop, when
virtual memory should be used, what cause disk fragmentation, what all the
error numbers mean, how bad blocks develop on a drive and which extensions
are and are not necessary.

The cost for a one day class is $395. I am wondering if anyone else has
gone through this class and how they evaluate it. Is it worth the money?

Thanks. Larry
