According to the manual (downloaded from DLink) it can be configured via a web browser so it should work fine in an all mac environment. I have a friend who's been looking for a cheap router and at that price I've recommended it to him. The web configuration is important as most devices like this must be initially configured via the serial port, something that's difficult to do with a modern mac. My guess is they're offering the steep discount because DLink is replacing it with their -P model with a built in print server. You can always add a Wireless Access Point later if you want. One last thing, the manual says it includes 2 ethernet cables so you won't even have to buy those.
