Which updater do you have?
The first updater, 6.0.4 worked great, and solved a few really
terrible bugs, such as blacked out toolbars. The next one 6.2.2 never
worked. I downloaded it twice, took about an hour both times, and I
pay by the minute for hookup time. Then it couldn't find any
Appleworks 6 to update. I tried all sorts of things, and even went to
the AUG forum for advice, didn't help, lots of other people at AUG
seemed to be having the same troubles, scrolling down through the
messages I found update troubles pretty regularly. My next step I
guess is to just buy the update disk, I have been hoping someone could
clue me in on this but nobody seems to be able to help.
