No it will not work, and you should never try to make it fit. The iMacs's
memory is 3.3V, the 6400's is 5V. To stop ram being wrongly fitted the 2
slots in the DIMM are slightly differently positioned so it won't fit. I
have heard of people filing out the DIMM slots so it does fit, or forcing
it, then zapping their motherboard and memory.
