Previous: Hey, I've asked already but here goes once more: Has anyone been able to use a quickcam vc with os 9.1? I just tried mine and it says it is incompatible w/the new file system and to find an update. Well. I haven't found any updates. Can I use some of the newer quick cam software? I think I may have tried this before and it worked so I will give it a shot. In the meantime, any suggestions are welcome. --------
I have been using quickcam with 9.1 on my imac DV SE and had no problems at all until... the quickcam seemed to die, it suddenly had very, very poor contrast and a lot of noise, i think it is just a piece of **** and there is nothing that can be done about that.... But before that, it worked fine on that system, did the message you get mean an update for 9.1 (i.e. 9.2) or an update for the quickcam software? But regardless, as I wrote, I didn't have any problems, just those of the quality of the quickcam itself. Guavachild -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
