The sub that's used with the soundsticks looks the same and works the same as, but isn't technically an iSub - it has a different software driver, and different hardware, which is the problem - I have the standalone sub - the iSub itself. (iSubs have green LEDs and no volume knob, and the soundsticks sub has Blue, and a volume control on it, from what I've seen).
iSubs did have issues with 10.0 through to 10.0.3 where it just wouldn't work for most people. Ever since its never quite been perfect!. 10.1.4 was the closest - but unfortunately for some people (myself included) having the iSub plugged in when you're NOT playing audio under 10.1.5 can cause a kernel panic. That's dud. :( dana Tubadude wrote: I have never had an incompatibility issue with the iSub and SoundStix and I > have used it from OS 9.0.4 through 10.1.5 on a G3 iMac DV-SE. > On 7/22/2002 10:50 AM, "tinman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > 1.
