Just reinstalled OS 8.6 on a 333/466 iMac and now the palm won't sync with the iMac. When I try to sync them, I am presented with the following message on the iMac screen:
"Conduit Manager could not be found. It must be located in the same folder as the HotSync Manager for proper operation." Both of the files are in the same folder, the one created by the install program. I then deleted both the Palm and the HotSync preferences and it still won't work. My desktop version is 2.6.3 and the handheld "Vx" model OS is 3.5.0. Suggestions? My Palm software installation CD has problems now (although I don't see any scratches on it) so I'm more prone to try to 'fix' this than to just reinstall everything. -- Matthew D.
