Don't know if it's still online, but I have used this URL in the past: http://www.imac2day.com/tech/visualRAM.shtml > Is there any way my imac can recognice SDRAM over 128MB? > I intalled a 256MB SODIMM and it recognice it as it was 128MB Sometimes it works in Rev. A to D iMacs (yours is a Rev. D), sometimes it don't. Are the RAM modules on one side of the RAM stick or on both sides? Sometimes dual sided sticks don't work. But even dual-sided sticks don't work always. I succesfully installed a 64 MB + 256 MB RAM in a 333 Mhz iMac and it recognizes the full 320 MB. I suggest you send the RAM stick back and ask for a replacement. -- Marc van Gemert | MacSonar Support Team | Webmaster MacSonar http://www.MacSonar.net | mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
