Sometimes it works in Rev. A to D iMacs (yours is a Rev. D), sometimes it
don't.
Are the RAM modules on one side of the RAM stick or on both sides? Sometimes
dual sided sticks don't work.
But even dual-sided sticks don't work always. I succesfully installed a 64
MB + 256 MB RAM in a 333 Mhz iMac and it recognizes the full 320 MB.
I suggest you send the RAM stick back and ask for a replacement.
