One other way to add video RAM, on the early iMacs that have mezzanine slots, is with an add-on graphics card. I think there may have only been one made, called the "iMac Game wizard" There's a FAQ for it here: http://homepage.mac.com/rojaws/game_wizard/faq.html It gives you 8 MB of video RAM, and a Voodoo 2 chipset. I know that the Rev. D iMac does NOT have the mezzanine slot, but I seem to remember that Apple left the solder pads for the slot in, so that you could possibly add your own mezzanine slot.
