One other way to add video RAM, on the early iMacs that have mezzanine
slots, is with an add-on graphics card.  I think there may have only been
one made, called the "iMac Game wizard"

It gives you 8 MB of video RAM, and a Voodoo 2 chipset.

I know that the Rev. D iMac does NOT have the mezzanine slot, but I seem to
remember that Apple left the solder pads for the slot in, so that you could
possibly add your own mezzanine slot.  I'm not sure if I'm remembering
correctly.  Anyone?
