The CD in my rev D iMac seems to have quite working--whines a bit then goes to sleep. I bought an external CD-RW from La Cie that works great--except for one problem. I read a lot of genealogy CDs and many only work on pcs, so I bought Virtual PC. Now the internal CD works with Virtual PC only it is just not working, but the La Cie isn't recognized by Virtual PC. Connectix is not being very swift at answering my query about this, so I'll ask you, the experts. How do I get my La Cie to work for Virtual PC, or next best, is it difficult to install a new CD in the iMac--one that Virtual PC will rcognize?
