Hi everyone -

I seem to be having some problems with 10.1.5 - certain apps aren't
working correctly, I'm unable to run Software Update (well, it runs, I
can select packages to dl, it asks me for the admin password and then it
just sits there) and Repair Permissions (again, it runs but I can't
click "repair" when I've selected the HD). I'm logged in as the admin.
Also, I can't seem to get the machine to boot from the Apple Hardware
Test disk by holding "c" at startup - it just spits the disk out.

I'm sure I've missed something obvious, but I haven't a clue what's
wrong....

TIA,

Glen
