Yes, I don't see why not, they're all ATA drives.
Don't forget to partition it when you install it in your Rev.D if you want to
install OS X on it. The first partition has to be <8 gig.
IMHO get one with 7200rpm, they're faster.

Yes, that's possible too if you don't want to install it internally in a FP
iMac.
