If you're watching a movie trailer from the internet, the most important
factor will be your connection speed. Make sure you set your speed correctly
in QuickTime 6's preferences, so it will download an appropriately-sized
movie when possible.

If you're on dial-up speed, it will take a while to download a full trailer,
unless it's very small. Even if it's not fully downloaded, though, QuickTime
will start playing the movie automatically if it figures it can finish
downloading it all before it stops playing.
