Has anyone ever recorded their own books to CD on this list? I posted my CD/RW woes earlier this week. Since then, I returned the CD-RW to the local store, ordered another one sight unseen from mail-order, completely taking their word that it was what I needed. It's a Fantom CD-Writer, 40/12/48, Firewire. I connected the drive, loaded the software, dragged, dropped, and burned a CD in a matter of maybe fifteen minutes. It comes with Toast Lite for the Mac and something else for the PC.
So, in our home school endeavors, it would really be convenient if I could record some books to CD. Anyone know a simple way to do this?
