Doug,

Didn't quite follow your comments, and don't have the original question...

Are you partitioned such that you have OS 10.x, and the classic environment
that OS 10 installs, on one partition; and then your original(?) OS 9.2.2
environment and the classic apps on a separate partition?

Would appreciate a clarification.

Thanks,
Jerry

Well, my friend, you must have both operating systems on the one partition,
and 9.2.2 on a separate partition. OS 10. 1.5 must be your startup disk,
and then if you open a classic app, it will launch 9.2.2, and then the
classic app. For example, I prefer Netscape Navigator, for mail(personal
preference) and I start out with OS X 10.1.5 open IE which sits in the dock,
check my stocks, my banks, etc. and then open Netscape. 9.2.2 starts up
immediately, and then Netscape launches, allowing me to have the same home
page, on either browser. Great system....I am really enjoying it, and I do
not have to dump(so far) any of my old apps. I have been running this way,
since last January on my old DV 400 and since May on my new flat
panel.Cheers, Doug in BC
