Go ahead and upgrade it to the newest model you can download..I 
personally have found that it is not any different in using the browser 
on different machines...the browser just works with more security and 
more types of sites...Mactopia.com is a good download site..
Other option might be to try icab in the kiosk mode...if that is only 
thing she wants...internet mail
