Hi I don't know exactly what the problem is but when you upgarde to a different language you'll get problems. I did this once. But the other way around. From an english version to a dutch. The trick is to make an alias of the following folders and rename the alias in english (or in the destinationlaguage): controlpanels, extensions, preferences, Contextual Menu Items and all other main systemfolders wich are used bye other software and thirdparty software. When you start an installer and there is a systemfile in it (extension). The installer has to know in wich folder it installs. If you have aliases this problem is gone.
