I agree. Until I played with an eMac I was unsure. They are certainly better
value. The CRT display also reacts better to bright sunlight. The new iMac
in our reception area at work is often almost unusable on very bright days.

I only have one concern re the eMac. Can you confirm that the display
assembly part, ie CRT, PSU and associated circuitry is all one spare part?
If so surely that will make out of warranty servicing more expensive than
earlier iMacs where individual boards/parts were available.
