most likely, it would seem that the permissions on your OS 9 applications folder (or where ever you have Office 2001 installed) have become goobered. relax; it happens. if you're running OS X 10.1, download the Repair Permissions Utility from Apple's website and run it. if you're running OS X 10.2, boot to the OS X Jaguar CD and choose "Open Disk Utility" from the Installer Menu.
