Uh, guys ... Mail DOES do this automatically!! In the preferences, under "Composing" there is a little radio button you can click that says (I'm paraphrasing here) "when replying, use the style of the original message." This is in addition to the part where you set the "default" style (Plain or Rich Text) of message you send. Thus, if the default is set to "plain" and someone sends you a Rich Text message, your reply will be rich text but a NEW message will be plain. Got it? _Chas_ Come to ...
