my iMac began acting up today. I was doing something, not sure what and
I was asked if I wanted the computer to automatically do updates when I
was online. Not thinking I said yes and it went into doing, I guess,
what it does..I was told I would need to shut the computer down and
restart. The computer never shut down, just the spinning ball...I
finally shut it down manually (maybe not a good idea)..after about 20
minutes I restarted..still a spinning ball and nothing on my desktop,
my icons are all on the bottom and I can go on line and do email, etc,
but something is not right..any ideas? maybe not important but I
installed 10.2 last week, and it reads 10.2.1.

Thanks

Joel Stern
