I have the perfect lost website for you!!

Thanks to the OS X-ification of Quake II, I have been playing the game
a lot again (OpenGL graphics just add a whole new dimension to the
thing!). Some time back (as recently as a year ago), there was a page
for those hard-to-find mods to Quake II (which, unlike Quake I and III,
did not have a cross-platform editor so porting mods to the Mac was
difficult). The whole thing was known as "The Railgun Project," and a
Google search shows that MacGamer had attempted to preserve the
valuable info but it now returns a 404.

Perhaps you could get in touch with the folks at macgamer.com and find
out what happened? Maybe take over preserving TRP?

Cheers
