Sorry, I couldn't find my shipping slip with the total weight, but I recently sold a CRT iMac from California to Maryland and the charges were about USD 50 for UPS ground with insurance for $1500 (I was also shipping extra peripherals.) Also, I don't know the weight of the old iMac (37 lbs. maybe?- there was a recent thread about it, I think), but when I estimated shipping to my buyer, I added the weight of the iMac plus 10 lbs. for the carton and keyboards, etc. and that worked pretty well.
