Hello LEM Listers,

I have begun to have a problem on startup where CarbonLib 1.3.1 inturrupts
the startup process by sending an (unknown) erronious instruction involving
DrawSprocketLib 1.1.4.

Running Conflict Catcher (in automatical mode) returns the result that these
two items are not in conflict and that the problem must be intermittant.

Last week when this first started happening I was also receiving a window
advising that there was a duplicate DrawSprocketLib folders (in fact there
were two others) but one had a different version number. I was prompted
whether I wanted to delete one of them, but when I did that (but saved it in
the Trash folder) with the one that is vers. 1.7.3. I ws unable to run Hoyle
Card Games or Hoyle Board Games until I put vers. 1.1.4 back into the System
Folder and dropped it on the Extensions folder. (The other two
DrawSprocketLib files are vers. 1.1.4 and vers. 1.7.3.) Vers. 1.7.3 is
listed as the newer of the three files. Does it belong somewhere else?

Apparently the CarbonLib 1.3.1 file is moving DrawSprocketLib 1.1.4 out of
the Extensions folder to the Macintosh HD, where the Hoyle progs can't find
it. I find it there after starting up and receiving the 'CarbonLib
interrupted startup' message. When I darg it back to the Extensions folder
the Hoyle progs work again.

Does this sound like a corrupted file for either CarbonLib or DrawSprocket?

Any suggestions on how to best resolve this problem would be greatly
appreciated?
