All lists are like this. All have netiquette guidelines and most have
moderators. I feel that we at LEM are more fair than most. If you want a
completely unmoderated list where you can yell and scream at people all day
long join Mac2Mac. Andrew Michael Mactao will let you say whatever you
want. A little moderation on a list is a good thing. You *really* don't
want to be on a list where the nannies let it turn into a free for all.

In my opinion you are over reacting. I agree that the generalization that
PC users steal more than Mac users may have been unfounded, but if you go
out onto Hotline or Carracho (other file sharing clients that are used a lot
for theft) you will see a hundred PC sites to every single Mac site. Now I
am not saying that PC users are more likely to steal...but there are a lot
more of them out there so the numbers are higher.

> I'm sure apple appreciates your sending my business somewhere else too.

Personally I don't give a rip what computer you use. It's not gonna hurt
Apple if you buy a PC. PC users are coming over to Apple in droves. So
many people are switching right now... I have never seen anything like it
before. I have a number of friends who have "switched" as well. No one is
telling you to leave, but you must understand that as a List Nanny I have to
be fair to all parties involved. But that doesn't mean that I am not
allowed to have an opinion either. What fun would it be moderating a list
where you weren't allowed to post? You are allowed to your opinion. So is
Charles. So is Joel and so am I. If you don't like it then you are always
free to leave. I don't want anyone leaving over one thread, but if it
offends you that much then you can always unsub.

Another beautiful day in the glamorous life of a nanny. Ho Hum. I feel
like Eyore sometimes.

The Exxon Valdez spilled 266,000 barrels of crude oil into Prince William
Sound killing 250,000 sea birds. Tragic? Every 48 hours domestic HOUSECATS
kill 250,000 song and sea birds in Great Britain alone. They are also a
greater threat for asthma and lung disease (especially amongst children)
than second hand smoke, due to the high amounts of mites and fungal spores
that they carry (second only to the cockroach). Housecats are horrifying
killers, not cuddly pets.
