Miss Cleo was an apparently-popular "psychic" with a phony Jamaican accent who advertised heavily on TV. She was recently prosecuted for (gasp) fraud! Shocking!! :)

Your post spoke of the idea that the current iBooks and Powerbooks will be scrapped and that a 19" iMac is on the way. You didn't mention any refreshment of the tower line. All I was saying is that your predictions on the portables are probably much further off that you indicate (I would be surprised to see such a large change in the models before next summer at the very earliest, much more likely about a year from now). The 19" iMac ... who knows when that might happen or if it will happen (seems a bit unlikely to me, since at that size the screen becomes a real weight/cost issue). My point was that if anything is likely to get significantly revised in the near future, it's the towers, not the products you spoke of. Saying that the portables will get upgraded/redesigned at some point is like saying that someday Apple will come out with a new machine -- rather obvious as long as "someday" is extremely flexible and not reflective of the near-term. > My point was... Not sure exactly when, of course, but the current consensus is at Macworld SF. _Chas_ Come to ... The CHASbah! http://thechasbah.blogspot.com **Go see BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE.
