No, you can't boot an iMac with OS 7.X.X.  You can't run anything lower than
what the iMac originally came with, starting with (I believe) OS 8.6.
Anything earlier wouldn't have any drivers for USB, and may not be able to
read your HFS+ hard drive, either.  Try looking for an updated version of
the program, or find another that is similar, and can perform the same task
- there's bound to be something else available.
