Hello:
I have five imacs (purple DVD type) in my math classroom that refuse to keep
the correct time and that report a "network time error" on startup. They've
done this since they came new out of their boxes in September 2001 and they
are not hooked up to any network. I thought the PRAM batteries were
defective. The school district's computer tech just came and changed the
batteries--and said he also zapped the PRAM--but the clocks still won't keep
the correct time (it's usually 1904) and the "network time error" box still
shows up on startup. The computers are running 9.1 and 9.2 and I have
mult-iuser turned on. Any suggestions?
TIA
Gary S.
