Thanks Steve!!!!!! On a side note its amazing the glut of iMacs that either have dead Logic or P.A.V. boards, very depressing when your a true macadvocate. I still have a LCII, SE, 6100, 7100, Color Classic (Mystic), LC575 and two 5400/180's and they still are perfect. The only thing that ever went wrong with them are the hard drives.

This is OK if you are taking another board from a scrap iMac, but new exchange boards don't come with the side panel, so there would be no openings for a firewire equipped board if replacing a 350MHz type. The 233MHz, 266MHz and 333MHz boards used in the tray loaders are completely different and not compatible with slot loaders like yours.
