Yes, Gary, you can, except that IR syncing is slower than cradle syncing. Also. IIRC, only rev A & B iMacs have IR; Apple deleted the capability on later models. Check Palm's Macintosh support area What Palm OS PDA are you looking at? Palm, HandSpring, Sony, HandEra, the phones from Kyocera or Samsung?
