Juelie, The lubricant should only be on the ends of the wires (where it meets the chassis). It is quite easy to insert the wires backwards. Generally, the wire ends point to the TOP of the keyboard. If the keys stick, remove them and reseat them. Any key with a wire also has a "clip" , actually usually two clips, one on each side of the wire opposite from the ends.
