Sorry. I've grown tired of the paper clip crap that Mac has put me through. My Windows PC at the office has worked flawlessly for over two years and now I'm shopping for a PC for my home. Once I get a stable system at home and catch up on all my other work, I might go back and try once again to fix my iMac. You probably already know this but the settings below have to be reset. Let me know if you find a solution. *** Zapping the PRAM simply means that you are reseting the PRAM to factory settings. Of course, this also means that you will lose settings in the following control panels: Monitors, AppleTalk, General Settings, Startup Disk, and Time and Date.
