Can't speak to the iBook specifically, but regular crashes are often 
symptomatic of a full, or nearly full, HD and/or lack of memory for the 
applications open. Those are often the first things to look at, and 
fortunately to some of the easiest to fix. Certainly been the case for 
various Macs I have owned. If you're having daily crashes I would start 
there.  The Bondi Blue only came with a 4 GB HD, and if you've had it 
since new, it could well be suffering from a bad case of electronic 
arteriosclerosis?
