Kyle Charles or Jeremy

I have a question I am sure one of you guys could answer. I have Imacs
running 9.2.2 with OSX installed. How do I keep my teachers from deleting
OSX specific software when they are housecleaning their computers?
Is there a way to hide the files that OSX needs to boot so that in future we
can switch to it without reinstalling?
We are not ready for OSX but since it came with the machines installed i
would like it left alone till we can use it.
