The fact that you got video with the CRT means it is alright. Color loss
may be dirt/corrosion on some pins of the "chroma" generator on the new
analog/video board or the insulations on the internal video cable have
frayed. Try to clean IC pins with contact cleaner or compressed air and
twist/reposition the internal cable.
