Gentle LEM Listers, I would like to upgrade my iMac from VPS 2.0 to 3.0, but it seems that VPC 3.0 is partially incompatible with USB unless you have OS 9.0 or higher installed.
My problem with VPC 2.0 is that it is very slow on my iMac Rev A even though I have maxed the RAM to 384 meg... Can any of you offer me any suggestions for what benefits or what problems I might encounter with upgrading my VPC / OS... whether both or just one of them (either one)? The more I read, the more uncertain I become as to which is the best route to take. I see both VPC and OS 9.X on eBay from time to time, but am uncertain whether to spend money on them and then discover that it wasn't worth the trouble.
