Why not visit the Thinkfree site (thinkfree.com), download the 30-day free demo and try it out for yourself? It IS a bargain at $50, easily the best Java program I have ever seen by a wide margin. It runs slower than MS Office, of course, but it works fine and I routinely interchange Powerpoint and ThinkFree: Show files back and forth with NO compatibility problems whatsoever, even across platforms. It's a poor man's Office, and it's a heck of a lot further along than OpenOffice.org (no need to install yet another OS to run it, either!).
