Howdy, I'm new to this list and this is my first post. I do a lot of editing, iMovie 3 for quick stuff, FCP3 for more elaborate edits. I've done my edits on a G3 Special Edition, but decided to upgrade to G4 and Jaguar. The imbedded mikes that come with the G4 is nice, but to really get a good cut, I have to bring the screen up close to get decent sound (narration). I purchased an external mike for my G3 that worked great, But when I got Buh Buh G4, I find that it takes a different size plug. I'm sure you all have already discussed this on the list. So, my question is: can anyone tell me where I can purchase an external mike with a plug compatible with the iMac G4. I shall wait with abated breath.
