Well, I screwed up. I am sure this has been answered on this before, but ... here goes. I bought a Rev A iMac with 9.0 installed on it. I don't know and he did that. But, at any rate, I had installed iomaga support and several other things. It is not even close to be my number 5 macintosh. But,... I wanted to try to get my FinePix Card Reader to work on it, so I downloaded, installed, downloaded, installed. After the final install, I couldn't get the iMac, it's a Bondi, to reboot all the way up. So, I grabbed the original 9.0 and tried to install from that. I re-initialize the disk and then try to reinstall the OS. It gives me an error message that "This volume needs to an a Firmware update found on your original disk." Huh? How can I update it when I don't have an OS installed on it. No biggee, I will go through same process with 9.2. "This volume needs to have a Firware update, found on your original DISK." So, besides having a nice looking machine, I would love to have it up and running before my granddaughter finds out her favorite Veggitales Game is no longer on it.
