had to replace the dvd drive in my slot loading imac..took about a week for this drive to die.. is it the drives (apple brand 4x) were they defective..should i bother putting a new one in or...go for a 6x for a combination drive? or a superdrive? ideas? the mac support around here is sparse at best and apple is of no help since they tell me my warranty is up..well duh!!!
