Setup:
On a home network with router Draytek/Vigor 2200E one FP 800 Mhz iMac one 400 Mhz DV SE iMac, both running OS 10.2.4. The printer is connected to the FP iMac and both have personal file sharing and printer sharing activated in system preferences. Printer sharing works flawlessly with both machines in OS X but The DV SE iMac refuses to print in OS 9 even when i550 as server printer is selected in Chooser. The FP iMac has no problems printing in OS 9. The drivers for i550 are the latest and separate for OS X and OS 9. When printing with the DV SE iMac in OS 9 the alert says: i550 error No: D 401. Any solution?
